The mission of the Walnut Acres Neighborhood Association shall be to preserve and protect the semi-rural character of Walnut Acres by encouraging

• A heightened awareness of neighborhood history
• Communication and social networking within the neighborhood
• Communication with City departments, agencies and officials
• Public recognition of the Residential-Agricultural lifestyle as a desirable element of the City’s diversity
• Beautification and preservation of the Walnut Acres neighborhood
• Cooperation with likeminded organizations in other neighborhoods
• Promotion of neighborhood safety
